Data protection at work: the essentials

What data
An account only needs an email address; name and profile photo are optional. Plus your matches and results. No payment details needed.
Who sees what
The league table and stats are visible to the members of your league.
Who joins
New players join via your invite link, and the admin approves every request.
Ready to play
Optional. Others only see who is ready to play right now. Nobody sees a history, not an admin and not an employer. Individual check-ins are deleted after 30 days.
Sign-in and storage
Sign in with your email address, no password needed. The servers are in Germany. No tracking cookie, no ads.
Export and deletion
You can export your data at any time. You delete your account in the app; your matches then stay in other players' standings without your name.

Suggested wording for your works council

Taking part in the foosball league is voluntary. Nobody who does not play is at a disadvantage. Results and stats are only used for the game and not to monitor performance or behaviour.

Common questions from privacy, IT and works councils

Where are the servers?

In Germany.

Can we take our data with us?

Yes. You can export your data at any time.

How do we delete an account?

Each person deletes their own account in the app. Their matches then stay in the other players’ tables without a name.

Is a profile photo required?

No, it is optional. Location and camera data are removed on upload, and everyone can hide their photo on office screens.

Does anyone have to take part?

No. Anyone who does not play creates no account and does not appear in the league.

Can results be used to monitor performance?

Results and stats are only visible to the members of your league; that is what a league table is for. The check-in only shows who is ready to play right now: nobody sees a history, not an admin and not an employer, and individual check-ins are deleted after 30 days. Record in your agreement that the data only serves the game, for example with the suggested wording above.

Who is responsible?

Provider and contact details are in the legal notice, all details in the privacy policy.
